The Coeur d'Absinthe - Double Distillation is an absinthe with personality that combines the spiciness of the green anise with the biterness of the grand wormwood.

The absinthe Coeur d'Absinthe - Double Distillation recieved a bronze medal at the 2009 Absinthiades in Pontarlier.

The ancient recipe of this sugarless absinthe is obtained especially by distillation of a mixture of green anise and wormwood. However, many other plants, finely selected, are also part of its composition: star anise, fennel, gentian or even mugwort.

A discovery to be missed neither from the novices nor from the connoisseurs !

- Alain Aurregio, heir of the Lemercier distillery, had not commercialized any new product since 2004 when the Abisinthe Amer 72 came out. This is why the absinthe Coeur d'Absinthe - Double Distillation is even more interesting !

- During the Belle Epoque, after Pontarlier, Fougerolles had the highest number of producers of absinthe. Sometimes some of the casks used in Fougerolles were sent to Pontarlier to cover their needs.

Lemercier distillery is a family firm founded in 1811. It has always been in the hands of the founder, Nicolas Desle Lemercier’s family.

Since 1991, after having achieved commercial studies, Alain Aureggio, also member of the Lemercier family, is at the head of the family firm.

- At first, savour Coeur d'Absinthe – Double distillation with a piece of sugar. Then add more or less according to your taste.

- For one measure of absinthe (3cl), add 2 to 5 measure of fresh water.
