Supreme is the first and unique Slovenian absinthe, it is modern and very successful.
It is based on a French and Swiss recipe. Its characteristic vanilla notes are quite unusual for an absinthe but give it an incredible melowness.
The
Supreme absinthe contains only natural flavours. Furthermore, it is presented in a modern bottle on which you can read : "Keep it Green and Live Supreme".
An absinthe that will delight all kinds of publics and will seduce more than many of you, ladies included !
Nose : Reveals most uncommon vanilla notes and many other aromas.
Palate : Mellow, fruity and well-balanced. The vanilla notes stand forward in the richness of the aromas, amongst which grand wormwood, fennel and green anise are present.
Finish : A good length. Measured bitterness.
- True absinthe was introduced to Slovenian people in1809. Slovenia and France experienced rich cultural and social exchange, at that time the first Slovenian absinthe was distilled.

Nice!
Not a classic - but I am a sucker for the vanilla overtones on this one. I recommend this if its your first absinthe, and if your like me it won't be your last.
I am still buying new untried absinthe's - and always include a supreme in an order.

Lovely smooth absinthe. My second favorite absinthe behind Moulin Rooz, and just ahead of Doubs in my humbel opinion.
I note that the label on a bottle I bought in the UK in November 2009 had 35ml/l of thujone listed - but the new bottle I received in April 2010 does not have any reference to the levels? Is there a reason? The bar-code was the same on both bottles.
Delivery was good. Packaging good.
