The Friedrich Fischer distillery was created in 1875. Is has always kept its reputation, and is the only Austrian distillery to have a real knowledge for absinthe production.
Today, more known as the Alt Wiener Schnapsmuseum (Old Viennese Schnaps museum), it still uses the stills from back then.
The distillery and museum have always stayed in the family, and we have reached today the 5th generation.
