The absinthe Trul Absinthium 1792 is one of the rare Czech absnthes to have an aniseed flavour.

It has a fresh taste with mint notes.
A very special absinthe !

A red version is also available; its anise flavour is stronger and the mint notes are not a present.

It got to me a tad bit later due to shipping problems, not ruevertes faults, which they fixed in an timely fashion. This stuff is strong, and if you are more partial to the essence of original absinthe, this might not be for you. However, this may suit the more daring and casual drinker quite nice.

I really enjoy absinthium 1792. I don't care what the "snobs" say about it, and yes you can taste the vodka but I like the taste and the secondary effect it imparts. It louches and has a nice taste.

Not that bad for a Czech absinthe ! An agreable surprise ! =)
(However, if you drink too much on a long period of time, you'll get (really) sick of it. So don't. Otherwise you'll never want to drink anymore again!!)
