Very herbaceous, Deniset - Klainguer absinthe is a good compromise between bitterness and sweetness.
In 2007 it was awarded the gold medal in the “macerated” category at the Absinthiades in Pontarlier.
Deniset – Klainguer absinthe reveals spring scents and leaves plenty of room to wormwood.
Ideal for the discovery of absinthe.
Deniset – Klainguer was several times awarded a medal in the “macerated” category at the Absinthiades in Pontarlier. Macerated absinthes are however judged alongside distilled absinthes. It is only at the end that the distinction is made between distilled and macerated absinthes for the classification.
The Deniset – Klainguer was founded in 1895 in Pontarlier at a time when distilleries flourished everywhere.
It was in 2003 that it started to reproduce absinthe. However, three years later, at the end of 2006, the distillery was purchased by Pernot to form the Pernot – Klainguer distillery, managed by François Thenevin.
