This absinthe spoon is the replica of the famous Toulouse-Lautrec's own absinthe spoon. Because of his talent and his love for absinthe, a spoon and an absinthe were named after him!
Handle : Round with a curved bend.
Head : The sides are folded up in a curve on the lower part.
- Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was very fond of absinthe, wether drunk with sugar or added to a cocktail. He drank small amounts, but often, and always carried a cane along with him, to which a flask and a small glass were attached.
- Issued from a rich family, he is one of the rare artists to have been able to posess his own spoon sets, marked with his own initials.
Historians do not all agree on the authencity of this spoon.
For some of them, it would be a fake, that would have been sold as Toulouse-Lautrec's own spoon in a commercial mean.
